We are asked all the time by patients
1) Will my nail fall off immediately
2) Will my nail turn black?
3) Will my nail look perfect after the laser treatment?
Show a patient how to judge growth progress. Remember, a new hallux nail will take 9-12 months to replace itself.
Damage to the nail is damage to the nail
The laser stimulates the production of collagen. Therefore, the nail will grow nicer looking.
However, damage from shoes or injuries may not be reversed.
